A larger number of Civil Service test booklets are shelved along with nonfiction titles and may be checked

Most items will automatically renew. If an item that you have borrowed does not renew, contact us.
Borrowed items may be returned to the library’s book return when the library is closed, to the library during our hours of operation, or any member library of the Finger Lakes Library System.
Placing a hold
You can place a hold on an item to have it picked up at Seymour Library. To place a hold on an item, call the library, ask a staff member or place a hold online.
If the item you are looking for is not owned by the Finger Lakes Library System, it may be possible to get it from another library system through the library’s Interlibrary loan service. Please ask a staff member for help or choose the “Click here to expand search to WorldCat for (ILL)” when searching the catalog.
You may request materials for purchase that are not available through the Finger Lakes Library System or Interlibrary loan at the library or online.
Fines & Fees
We know that accidents happen. Please be aware that:
Fines will accrue on your account at a rate of $0.15 per day for books, magazines, audiobooks and other materials (library tools and tablets), $1 per day for DVDs and $5 per day for the telescope and Civil Service test booklets.
If you owe more than $5 in fines, you may not check out materials or use the library’s public access computers.
If you lose or damage an item, you will be charged a $10 processing fee for books and other materials, $2 for magazines in addition to the replacement cost of the item.
Fines may be paid online or at the library.
