Computers and equipment
Seymour Library offers access to public PCs. With a library card in good standing or a temporary pass for out-of-area visitors, patrons can use the computers for up to three hours a day. Computers can be used from opening until 10 minutes before closing.
Patrons 18 and over are also able to check out a Chromebook or iPad for use within the library. Chromebooks and iPad tablets are available for 1 hour loan increments with a total of 3 hours a day.
The library also offers:
- Printer (works from library PCs only)/Copier black & white copies/prints for $0.10; color copies/prints for $0.20
- Flash Drives for loan
- Earbuds available to own for a requested $2.00 donation
- Wi Fi access during open hours
- Access to and help using online databases and resources
Computer for children
Seymour Library offers computers, including an AWE station, and an iPad reserved for children. Internet access is not filtered. Guardians must grant internet permission for the child to access these devices. For more information, view our policy.
Seymour Library provides access to MAGic, screen magnification software with speech, as well as a large type keyboard. Patrons may also borrow the SAPPHIRE portable magnifier or use the TOPAZ desktop magnifier in-house. Other accessible services are also available.
