George Rollie Adams

George Rollie Adams writes historical fiction with present-day relevance about the Jim Crow and Civil Rights-era South. A native of southern Arkansas, he creates authentic characters, writes true-to-life dialogue for them, and puts them in settings and plots inspired by real places and real events. A former teacher, biographer, and museum director (including the Louisiana State Museum and the Strong National Museum of Play), Adams has lived and worked in Nashville and New Orleans and currently resides in Western New York. His novels South of Little RockFound in Pieces, and Look Unto the Land have received twelve writing and publishing awards for historical, regional, social issues, and race relations fiction.

Anthony F. Gero

Anthony F. Gero holds a BS in Secondary Education from S. U. C. at Oswego and an MA: History from S.U.C. at Cortland and is a retired high school teacher. He is an elected Fellow of the Company of Military Historians and is an author and co-author of six military history books and over 200 articles on military history, among them Black Soldiers of New York State: A Proud Legacy (SUNY Press, 2009). Recently he has entered the field of fiction work that includes Boots: A Novella of the Civil War (Camp Pope Publishing, 2013) and The Night Dancer Chronicles, Book One (Downtown Books Publishing, 2014) Book Two (Downtown Books Publishing, 2015).


Glenn H. Ivers

Glenn H. Ivers is a North Syracuse native and graduate of Colgate University. He served in the Peace Corps in Liberia, West Africa, and enjoyed a career in the human services in Central New York.

His three Telly Award-winning documentary films were distributed by the Public Broadcasting Service. His book of fictionalized history, Angels of Bastogne: A Remembrance of World War II, was published by Peace Corps Writer and is based on the true story of Central New York veteran Jack Prior MD.

Sheila Myers

Sheila Myers is an award-winning author and college professor in Upstate New York.  Her penchant for research and meanderings through the wilderness, lakes, mountains, and vistas (and the occasional trip to a cemetery) in the U.S. and abroad, inspire her novels and short stories. She is the author of The Truth of Who You Are, a historical fiction novel set in the Smoky Mountains during the Great Depression, Ephemeral Summer and the Durant family saga: Imaginary BrightnessCastles in the Air, and The Night is Done. She is adapting her stories to screenplays.
