Join us for a literacy rich, creative art partnership between Seymour Library and the Schweinfurth Art Center. Families are invited to listen to a special “artsy” story read by a library staff member, then are invited to complete an art activity by following along with a video created by a Schweinfurth staff member. Each participating family will receive a creativity kit filled with a variety of art supplies, access to a special virtual read aloud and a link to a step by step art project video.
The program will consist of four virtual storytime sessions and corresponding art project activities. Participants will sign up and receive their kits at the library. Kits will include activities and materials for all four sessions. The program will be limited to 12 families and is paid for with funding from the Historical and Cultural Sites Commission.
To register for this program, please email Miss Jill at firstname.lastname@example.org.
