  • Chair Yoga at the Carriage House Theater

    December 7, 2022 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

    The library in partnership with the Cayuga Museum of History and Art will be offering chair yoga classes with instructor Wendy Vitale at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, December 7 and 14 at the Carriage House Theater, 203 Genesee St REAR, Auburn, NY 13021.

    This program is free to the community. Registration is not required. Mats are not required, but please bring a water bottle. If you plan on wearing shoes/sneakers during class, please bring them to put on once you arrive.

    Seymour Library will offer two hands-on learning sessions for DigitalLearn.org. Computers will be available for participants to explore resources offered through DigitalLearn.org during these self-paced learning sessions on:

    Tuesday, December 13
    10 am to 12 pm and 2 to 4 pm

    Thursday, December 15
    10 am to 12 pm and 2 to 4 pm

    Computer assistance will be available. No registration is required for these drop-in sessions.
     
    This program is part of a series of workshops funded by the PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive. Future workshops will cover the basics of video conferencing, cybersecurity, and resume development.

    PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T is designed to support library adoption of the PLA DigitalLearn online courses and training materials developed with support from AT&T, freely available at DigitalLearn.org.

    The Public Library Association's site, DigitalLearn.org is an online hub for digital literacy support and training. The site launched in June 2013 and builds upon and fosters the work of libraries and community organizations as they work to increase digital literacy across the nation.
