CITY OF AUBURN: PUBLIC MEETING FOR 2026–2027 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PLANNING
The City of Auburn invites all residents, community stakeholders, nonprofit organizations, and interested parties to attend a public meeting regarding the upcoming 2026–2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This meeting offers an opportunity for community input on how CDBG funds will be prioritized, allocated, and used to benefit neighborhoods and residents in the city of Auburn.
CDBG is a federal program administered through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that supports local community development efforts, affordable housing, infrastructure improvement, public services, and other projects that benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents. Under New York State’s CDBG program, city eligibility, activity rules, and reporting obligations must be followed. Your feedback will help guide the City’s application, budget allocations, and project selection.
If you require translation services, ADA accommodations, or other accessibility assistance, please notify the Office of Planning & Economic Development at least five (5) business days before the meeting. For more information, please contact Renee Jensen, Program Manager, at 315-253-3513 or rjensen@auburnny.gov.
