Ride & Read:StoryWalk® Kick Off Event @ Hoopes Park

Enjoy Seymour Library’s StoryWalk® at Hoopes Park, 100 S. Herman Ave., while learning the basics of bicycle and wheelsport safety through a fun and interactive safety course. 

Balance fun with safety! Children will receive tips on bike safety, complete a bike safety course led by Joe Mushock, Cayuga County Health Department’s Injury Prevention Coordinator, and receive a copy of the featured StoryWalk® book: Bike On, Bear! by Cynthea Liu. One book per family, while supplies last. 

Ride your bike (scooter, skateboard, tricycle, stroller, etc.) around Hoopes Park and enjoy a story at the same time! Children should bring their own wheels and helmets are required. Don’t have a helmet? Free helmets will be available for children in need, while supplies last. No registration required for this free drop in event!
