Seymour Library’s 150th Birthday Celebration

May 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT
Free
Celebrate Sequicentennial

On May 20th, 1876, Seymour Library was incorporated, and plans began to open the library on the second floor of the Auburn Savings Bank- now known as the Phoenix Building! Join us in celebrating the library’s 150th Anniversary with a concert and cake!

The Friends of Seymour Library will be serving cake to the community (6 pm), followed by a concert (6:30 pm) with the AJHS Chamber Orchestra.

The Auburn Junior High School Chamber Group is a small group of exceptional string musicians in the AJHS orchestra. These musicians are a part of the chamber group to further challenge themselves on their instruments. This group, led by orchestra teacher Madeline Hommel, has performed at many venues and events around Auburn.
