*Held at the Cayuga Museum Carriage House Theater, 203 Genesee Street*
Head South to Peru and the Galapagos with Susan Marteney!
After a quick stop in Lima, head off to explore the ancient city of Cusco, located high in the Andes Mountains. Visit Sacsayhuaman before taking a train to the village of Aqua Caliente and Machu Picchu, The Lost City of the Inca, “discovered” by Hiram Bingham in 1911. Marvel at the intrigue stone work in walls, The Temple of the Sun and Ollantaytamo. You might even enjoy a dinner of cuyo or llama. Then fly off to the Galapagos Islands to discover volcanoes, Galapagos tortoises, Blue footed boobies, seals and other animals. This is where Charles Darwin noticed bird diversity and began his theory of evolution for his 1859 book, The Origins of the Species. Finally, a Q&A about travel and packing.
