From books, to film, TV, and theater, Jane Austen is everywhere! Celebrate Austen’s 250th Birthday with Lisa Brown, former Regional Coordinator for the Central and Western New York Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Discover why the 18th-century English novelist is still popular today!

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Seymour Library. No registration required.

Lisa Brown is well-known for her popular workshops, fashion shows, and historical talks. She runs the successful Jane Austen Book Box program, which donates age-appropriate Jane Austen books to schools, libraries, and community groups. During the pandemic, Lisa created Jane Austen Bingo for Zoom and in-person meetings.
