We’re making improvements to better serve you! Seymour Library is undergoing construction to create new spaces and update existing areas.

What’s Happening

Seymour Library is undergoing construction to create new spaces and update existing areas.

Upper Level: Our second floor is being redesigned to add a meeting room. The nonfiction section has been condensed and moved to make room for these updates.

Throughout the Library: We’re brightening up spaces with new lighting in the fireplace room, DVD room, and historic areas of the building. We’re also converting the North Lobby closet into a small study room and updating our current study room.

Events at Seymour Library: Please note that due to ongoing construction happening at the library, the After Hours Lecture Series will be held at the Cayuga Museum Carriage House Theater, 203 Genesee Street, January through mid-April.

Drop-in programs, including storytimes, STEAM, Mah Jongg, Crochet & Knitting Club, etc., will continue to meet at the library during this time. If you have any questions on where a program is being held, please visit our website or call the library at 315-252-2571
