From Summer Fun to Fall Learning

Thank you to all the families that joined us for Seymour Library’s Discover Summer series! Over 325 children registered for this year’s summer reading program focused on art, imagination, curiosity, and, of course, READING! Together we enjoyed stories and songs, got messy during nature-themed crafts, solved mysteries, explored science with Zoey and Sassafras, and decided what we liked better: the book or the movie.

Although Discover Summer is over for the season, we are gearing up for another busy fall at the library. Lifelong learners of all ages are invited to join us for a variety of programs designed to Connect, Engage, and Inspire!

What’s new this Fall in the Family Space?

In addition to storytimes (now at 10 am), LEGO Club (9/15 at 5 pm), and Pokémon Club (9/24 at 5 pm), we are kicking off a new art exploration series for homeschooling families, expanding our Saturday programming, and welcoming special community guests- the Purple Lancer Cadets. No registration required for these free programs!
