Library Design: Community Response

Where do you want to see your library over the next 25 to 30 years? Seymour Public Library’s architect, Paul Mays, met with library staff and members of the community to discuss the direction of Seymour Library. Through public forums and a survey, the community shared their thoughts on what needs to change or improve to better help the library meet the demands of the 21st century.

On Wednesday, December 5, Paul Mays presented public input gathered from the previous Library Design Workshop and meetings. Community members are encouraged to visit the library and review two boards with the complete list of ideas that developed through these meetings.  Help us prioritize what’s important to you by checking out materials or attending a program. You’ll get a sticker from the Circulation Desk to place on the boards for your “vote”.
