Thrilling Reads and More

This October, Seymour Library wants to help you find your next scary read! We are not clowning around either. Our staff has hand-picked a Halloween-themed mix of creepy stories, cute monsters, and all things that go bump in the night — just for you! Stop by to talk to one of our librarians, browse our online catalog or call the library at 315-252-2571 and find a new tale (or two) to add to your cauldron.

Get some fall inspiration! Check out a cookbook. Ask a librarian for more suggestions.

Family Space Renovations: Construction continues at Seymour Library as renovations are being made to update our new Family Space.

We will continue to showcase the renovation on our website, social media and in our e-newsletters. Want to stay updated on the progress? Follow us on Facebook or subscribe to our newsletter with a personal request to add you to our email list.

In the meanwhile, popular collections from the Children’s Room can be found in the library’s new book room. Other collections around the library have been shifted to accommodate the change.

You will notice that sections of the library are currently unavailable to the public or that lights are off in certain areas. Library staff are more than happy to assist with retrieving a book.

Construction vehicles/equipment will be parked in the library’s parking lot for the duration of the project, but there is still parking available to visitors.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this remodel. We cannot wait to share the new family space with you! We will continue to post renovation updates on our Facebook page.
