Winter Break is right around the corner, and we have the perfect cure for cabin fever – a visit to Seymour Library! Whether you’re looking for engaging activities or just need to stock up on books, movies, games, and more, we’ve got you covered.
Drop in for special activities on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm, or take part in our Love Monster Scavenger Hunt happening all month long! Search high and low in the Family Space to find adorable love monsters, then cozy up with a book in Amy’s Nook, a secret little reading hideaway just for kids.
Winter Break Heats up with these Drop-in Activities:
Build Day
Monday, February 17 | 10 am – 2 pm | Drop-in
Calling all future engineers! Join us for a day of creative building at the library. Choose from LEGO bricks, LEGO DUPLO, KEVA Planks, wooden blocks, and more. Let your imagination take shape—build a towering skyscraper, a daring bridge, or something entirely unique!
All ages are welcome. No registration is required.
Craft Day
Tuesday, February 18 | 10 am – 2 pm | Drop-in
Calling all crafty kids! Unleash your creativity with a day of arts and crafts at the library. Try your hand at painting, collaging, and crafting with a variety of fun materials. Get messy, get creative, and make something amazing to take home!
All ages are welcome. No registration is required.
Pokémon Day
Wednesday, February 19 | 10 am – 2 pm | Drop-in
Trainers, grab your Poké Balls! Meet fellow Pokémon fans and dive into a world of Pokémon-themed activities. Bring your own Pokémon Trading Cards to trade or battle, or borrow some from the library to join the fun.
Designed for ages 7 and up, but all ages are welcome. No registration is required.
