Seymour Public Library District Trustee Election, October 28, 2020

The Seymour Public Library District will hold an election for three trustees on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the library, 176-178 Genesee St., Auburn, at which time the polls will be opened to vote upon:

  1. The election of one trustee of the Seymour Public Library District from the City of Auburn for a four-year term. Registered voters in the City of Auburn are eligible to vote for the Auburn trustee. One candidate, Lynda DeOrio, has submitted a petition to represent Auburn and will be on the ballot.
  2. The election of one trustee of the Seymour Public Library District from the Town of Owasco for a four-year term. Registered voters in the Town of Owasco are eligible to vote for the Owasco trustee. One candidate, Meg Vanek, has submitted a petition to represent Owasco and will be on the ballot.
  3. The election of one trustee of the Seymour Public Library District from the portion of the Town of Sennett that is in the Auburn Enlarged City School District for a four-year term. Registered voters in the portion of the Town of Sennett that is in the Auburn Enlarged City School District are eligible to vote for the Sennett
    trustee. One candidate, Joseph Runkle, has submitted a petition to represent Sennett and will be on the ballot.

There will be no budget referendum this year. Seymour Public Library District will not be asking for a change in the tax levy approved in 2019. Absentee ballots are available.
