Friends of Seymour Library - image with a variety of events funded by the Friends, families outside the library, children with legos, and staff members.

In 2025, the Friends sponsored over 150 library programs, engaging families with hands-on learning through STEAM programming, promoting literacy and connecting readers through storytimes, book clubs, and author talks, and inspiring lifelong learning through lectures and workshops. In addition to making a variety of programs possible, funding from the Friends supports library outreach at schools and in the community.

The Friends meet at Seymour Library the third Wednesday of the month at 5 pm.
