Your membership and support makes it possible for the library to do a variety of fun programs for all ages, including visits from the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre, the Montezuma Audubon Center, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and the Kopernik Observatory and Science Center, chair yoga and meditation classes, lectures & workshops with local historians & artists, and hands-on crafting & maker programs.

Upcoming Meetings & Events:
Join the Friends of Seymour Library for their monthly meeting and get-together on Wednesday, March 16 at 6 pm.
The meeting will be held in person at Seymour Library. Catch up with your fellow friends, learn about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, and take a tour of the library’s new Family Space. You do not need to be a member to attend.

Lake Ave. Garage Sale Fundraiser
The Friends will once again be participating in the Lake Ave. Garage Sale, which will be held on Saturday, May 7. Interested in helping out? Have some treasures that you would like to donate? The purpose of the Friends of Seymour Public Library District is to maintain an association of persons interested in books, libraries, and the promotion of lifelong literacy, focus public attention on Seymour Public Library District services, facilities, and needs, and enhance the community’s appreciation for the library, stimulate gifts that may be used for collection development and other library needs and to actively promote and support the financial and economic well-being of the Seymour Public Library District by the presentation of views before legislative and administrative hearings and before the public at large regarding any matter affecting the revenues of the library.
