The Friends of Seymour are currently seeking gardens for their 1st Annual Summer Garden Tour, taking place on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The Friends are looking to coordinate with gardeners in the City of Auburn who are interested in opening up their gardens for this fundraising event, which will support programs and collections at Seymour Library.
The tour will begin at Hoopes Park, 100 S Herman Ave, Auburn, NY 13021, where a directional map describing each location will be distributed, and end at Seymour Library, 176-178 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY 13021, with refreshments, an art exhibit, and drawings for prizes.
Pre-sale tickets will be available after June 1st at Seymour Library and online using PayPal.
If you are interested in having your garden be part of the tour, or if your business/organization would like to be a sponsor for this event, please contact Committee Chair, Lynda DeOrio at seymourfriends@seymourlib.org by April 10th.
The Friends of Seymour Library are a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that supports Seymour Library.
