The Empowered Caregiver with Alzheimer’s Association: Supporting Independence

Discover tips on how to help the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, including providing the right amount of support and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.

Registration is required for this free series. Participants do not need to attend all six sessions. Please call the library at 315-252-2571 to register. For more information about the Alzheimer’s Association, visit their website at www.alz.org.


The Empowered Caregiver with Alzheimer’s Association is a six-part educational series, led by a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association, that teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia.
