This summer, Seymour Library is relaunching our Adult Summer Reading Program!
Summer! It’s time to relax, take a vacation, lounge by the pool, and catch up on your reading list! From beach reads to cozy mysteries, romance, and thrillers — Seymour Library has you covered! Don’t know where to start? Join our Adult Summer Reading Program and get your Summer Reading Guide today!
Please stop by in person at either our Main or North Lobby desk/s to sign up for Discover Summer Reading!
It’s super easy! Here is all you need to do:
- Complete our registration form
- Once the form is complete, you will receive your Discover Summer Folder containing:
- a Summer Reading Guide
- Discover Summer Reading Bingo card
- bookmark
- and a sticker
Please note, only one folder per household. If more than one family member registers for summer reading, each member will get their own bingo card.
What is Discover Summer Reading Bingo?
Participants can read and cross out the category squares. When you reach five in a row, that’s Bingo! Return your card to us for an entry into our prize drawing! Plus, there is also a book review option on the back of your Bingo card, review a book to get an additional entry into the drawing! Bingo cards should be returned by September.
Many of the Bingo categories match our Read More Reading Challenge! Making it possible to participate in both challenges!
There’s even more! Adults can experience fun and adventure with our Discover Summer Programs! We have a variety of programs scheduled as part of Discover Summer, from our new Adventure Lecture Series to Chair Yoga, or learn to play Mah Jongg, meditation, and more.
