Love is in the air this month, not just because of Valentine’s Day. It’s also Library Lovers’ Month – a month dedicated to people who love their local library and the resources that libraries offer to the community! We want you to join us in celebrating by sharing your library love! We are collecting library memories that will be featured anonymously on our website, social media, and other promotional materials!
Share Your Library Love
It’s as easy as one, two, three!
- Stop in person at Seymour Library in the month of February during operating hours.
- Grab a Library Lovers’ Comment Card. Available at our Main Desk, in the Family Space, or at our Greeter Station.
- Fill out your comment card with your favorite library memory, and return your completed card to our library staff.

Blind Date with a Book returns this year with a new selection of dates – all wrapped up, with a featured first line from the book as your only formal introduction! They are hopeful that you will check them out!

February is also Bake for Family Fun Month!
Scoop up FREE recipe cards from the Friends of Seymour Library! We have some phenomenal bakers who are also members of the Friends of Seymour Library, and every year, the Friends share some of their favorite baking recipes for everyone to enjoy!
If you’re not a baker, that’s ok too! During the year, the Friends host special events at Seymour Library, and they often bring in these tasty confections as a treat to enjoy. Keep an eye on their social media for events like National Friends of the Library Week or their Annual Meeting in July!
