Grand Opening of ‘Cosmic Black Joy: The Jubilee Tapestries’

Join us for the Grand Opening of ‘Cosmic Black Joy: The Jubilee Tapestries,’ –a vibrant digital collage series from Arthur the Artist, that brings the spirit of Black Joy to life through bold celestial imagery.
The series of tapestries will be hung throughout the historic library, and are a celebration of dreams and aspirations, crafted to resonate deeply with viewers and elevate the rich tapestry of Black culture.
More than just art; this exhibit is a communal celebration, set to debut during the week of Juneteenth! Arthur’s tapestries will continue to be on display throughout the summer.
The opening reception will start at 5 pm with a chance to meet the artist and is in conjunction with “Explorations in Words and Art” presented by aaduna.
