May is National Get Caught Reading Month

Seymour Library offers programs for readers of all ages, from weekly storytimes to book clubs and visiting author lectures. Looking for your next great read? Ask a library staff member (we love to talk about books), check out our For Readers page, featuring staff picks and new & upcoming releases, or browse one of our library book displays.

There are so many options to help you celebrate Get Caught Reading Month this May!

For our little readers and their families, try one of these weekly storytimes:

  • IMAGINE Storytime (Mondays at 11 am)

Families will engage in stories, songs, and movement together during this fun and interactive storytime! Designed for ages 2 to 5, but all ages are welcome.

  • Little Wigglers (Tuesdays at 11 am)

Shake those wiggles out during this storytime designed for toddlers and their families. Explore stories, songs, and movement together!

  • Books & Babies (Wednesdays at 11 am)

Bring your little ones to this lap-sit storytime for newborns (0 to 18 months) and their caregivers. This special storytime focuses on encouraging early literacy skills through books, songs, movement and discovery.
