Peace Collection at Seymour Library --graphic includes a dove and peace signs with the Seymour Library logo.

The Peace Collection is a new collection available at Seymour Library that features books for all age groups, both fiction and nonfiction that focus on fostering peace and promoting a culture of understanding, equity, and kindness.

This new addition is based on the Literacy Library Collection for Equity, Social Justice & Peace, a special collection at the Merriweather Branch Library in Buffalo which was started as a response to the violence perpetrated on May 14, 2022.

We would like to thank Auburn’s Historic and Cultural Sites Commission for the funds to add 118 books to this collection! We hope this collection will continue to grow in the coming months and invite you to stop by and check it out!
